On Saturday 1st October a team of 14 Ravenswood Swimming Club members participated in the Warringah Swimming Club - New Season Long Course Meet at Warringah Aquatic Centre.
This meet provided our members with valuable early season long course racing and the opportunity to try new events in which they did not have a previous time.
Our debutant swimmer Sarah Jung raced for her first time in a Ravenswood Swimming Club cap.
Our swimmers performed exceptionally well with many collecting personal bests, metropolitan or state qualification times. Congratulations to those swimmers.
Congratulations to Leo Bazouni and Simon Jung for achieving their first NSW Metropolitan Qualification.
The meet also coincided with the launch of the new Ravenswood Swimming Club Cap.
Our swimmers battled very proudly in the new cap.
The swimmers results have been uploaded to Swim Central and a full list of results have been printed and displayed on the Swimming Club Whiteboard in the Aquatic Centre
Our next racing opportunity will be on the weekend of 15/16 October with a Race Night at Ravenswood on Saturday and at the SNSW Qualifying Meet on Sunday.
