SMNE Long Course Summer Champs
On Saturday & Sunday 3-4 November, 30 members of our Ravenswood Swim Team competed at the SMNE Summer Champs for the 2018-19 season. This meet offered another opportunity for our Ravens to post times for the Long Course season ahead. Swimmers gained valuable race practice as well as achieving qualifying times for State and National meets; most importantly our Ravens were able to practice executing technique and skills being worked on in training while under the pressure of a race situation. All 30 of our swimmers raced exceptionally well, with 28 individual swims and 7 relay teams gaining places in the top 10; to go with 9 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals. Overall, our Ravens had a very successful meet, congratulations again to all of our swimmers, and a special thank you to the parents who assisted with time keeping, marshalling or as a technical official over the weekend.
