Over the weekend of 15th and 16th October a team of 12 Ravenswood Swimming Club members attended the NSW Qualifying Meet. This meet was the first for many in the 2022/23 season.
The meet was run in an open format where swimmers would race again other swimmers with a similar entry time regardless of age. Swimmers needed to qualify based on a time allocated to their age group.
Our team performed exceptionally well across the weekend with a 80% PB conversion. These results showed that out athletes have worked very well through the winter months to come out early season and beat their best times from the start of the year in the peak on long course racing.
Multiple swimmers achieved Metro, State and National Age Qualification times. Congratulations to those individuals.

Our next long course event is the SMNE Summer Championships on 12-13 November. We look forward to seeing all our qualifiers out their racing to achieve their personal best.
