NSW 10&U-12Yrs State Age Championships
The first day of Junior State finished with 4 PB's from 4 races & a 6th place! Charlotte started us off with a great 400 Free, keeping her splits very even to record a 2 second PB. Ben had a great 100 Breast to gain his new best time. Chloe M raced hard in her 200 Back to go under 2.40 for the first time & place 6th! Charlotte then backed up in her 100 Fly for a sensational swim & another best time.

The second day of Junior State wrapped up yesterday with sensational racing all day. Personal best times all round, top 10 places & phenomenal relays. Chloe M and Freya D going sub 30 & Sophie going sub 31 for the first time in their 50 Free. Charlotte & Jess N going sub 2.50 for the first time in their 200 IM, Ben & Fraser going oh so close to 29 and 33 respectively for the first time in their 50 Free, gutsy Butterfly races for Kayla & Ava at the end of a very hot day & Chloe M with a determined finish in the 100 Back to claim a very close 4th.
The highlight of the day was our young Ravens combining for 5 sensational relays. Jess, Chloe, Freya & Charlotte combined in the Free relay to go sub 2 minutes & claim 5th place; not to be outdone, Sophie, Isabella, Ava & Kayla combined for a 2 second team best time. Our Medley relays followed up with more team best times; Sophie, Isabelle, Freya & Ava combining for a 5 second PB to claim their heat; while Chloe, Tiana, Charlotte & Jess combined for a 2 second PB.
The day finished with our 10x50m Free relay of Freya, Isabella, Chloe, Isabelle Charlotte, Ava, Sophie, Kaitlyn, Kayla & Jess combining for a very exciting race to claim 5th place!
Congratulations to everyone on a hugely successful State Age Champs, well done! Congratulations & thanks also to our amazing coaches Leanne & Nicholas who were there to support our young Ravens at every step.
